Welcome Home

Well this is old news now.  I meant to post it last week, but didn't get to it and Callie insists that it is not too late.  The pictures are too pretty.

We love our family, but we have to admit that we were a little excited to get home and see how much snow we had.  (It wasn't as much as the media made it out to be)  It rained all through Mississippi, Tennessee and into Kentucky.  It was dry all through southern Indiana, then our last two hours on the road it poured SNOW!  The roads were a little tricky because it was falling so fast and the flakes were huge.  Cameron always does such a good job driving in it.  Even though I have to say be careful about every 20 minutes, he's very patient with me.  It was absolutely beautiful to watch.

The two pictures above were taken by Callie on the way to a friends house.

Snow just makes everything beautiful.  Crisp and white and clean.

  1. We don't get a lot of snow here, so this is amazing to me. So beautiful. Especially that cardinal against the snow.

    1. My in laws are all from the south. They think we are nuts but we would be really sad to live where it didn't snow.
