The Lazy Days of Summer?

That may have described our June, but certainly not our July!

There has been a lot of excitement over here.  Now if by the word "excitement" your thinking of trips to Hawaii, grand shopping trips, or major renovations then you would be at the wrong blog.  Think more like, play dates, family visiting, swimming lessons, ballet, a little redecorating (pictures to come soon, I hope), doctors appointments, and a job change.

She did great this year!  No tears, just a little hesitation at the diving board and she's swimming!

That last one is enough mental excitement to last me all year!  Cameron is very excited about beginning work with a new company at the beginning of August.  He will be doing the same kind of work, but for a new company and as an independent contractor.

Some how I am suppose to plan for a new school year.  I'm having a little trouble concentrating on that though.

Swimming lessons were over today and that should help.  Maybe I'll have an entire day where I don't have to go anywhere.  Ahh, just thinking about it helps me relax.  Next week.  I'm counting on it.

  2. I love the picture of Kate smiling! :) She's such a cutie.

We're excited about Cameron's new job and this new adventure God is taking you all on! God provides for everything, doesn't He!

    1. He does! I keep reminding myself that God is answering the prayers that I've been praying for a long time...that He would direct Cameron in his career. What am I fussing about?! LOL

      Boasting About Tomorrow

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

  3. I always say, whoever came up with the phrase "lazy days of summer" never had kids!
